NO Projekt, (2018-2020) a Berlin-based non-profit collective of para-academic artivists, emerged from a critical interrogation of contemporary socio-economic and cultural conditions. Inspired by the philosophical ideas of Byung-Chul Han and Max Stirner, the collective explored the precariousness of modern existence—overwork, debt, social media addiction—through art that challenges traditional notions of education, free will, and artistic commodification. The collective's work was deeply influenced by the concept of freedom born from knowledge, aiming to bridge thought and action in the creation of art that transcends mere aesthetics.

Through their explorations, NO Projekt cultivated a dynamic network of artivists, thinkers, and producers, offering a platform for those without resources to realize their projects while also fostering collective knowledge and action. The collective's PVC creations, particularly the NO Clothes, were emblematic of their ethos, merging art, fashion, and performance into participatory experiences that critiqued the slick, commodified surfaces of modern life.

NO Clothes were not just garments but evolving sculptures, transformed by the public during performances, becoming urban artifacts marked by collective interaction. These pieces embodied the group's commitment to sustainable, no-waste production and a rejection of ownership, allowing the audience to engage in a process of continuous creation and transformation. The performances themselves were acts of rebellion against the fashion industry, where the boundary between the performer and the audience blurred, challenging the very nature of aesthetic value.

Informed by a broad range of research into human rights, the privatization of culture, and the commercialization of art, NO Projekt's work was a powerful critique of the current social and environmental crises.
